Somatic Bodywork

I offer Holistic Bodywork sessions from my home studio in Whaletown on Cortes Island, BC.

Circled by ancient Cedar trees, it is a quiet and nourishing place to rest and receive.

I have a 2,200 hour Massage Therapy Diploma from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, and over 20+ years of massage therapy experience. I offer holistic bodywork sessions that address physical pain and tension, and spiritual renewal and rejuvenation.

Every bodywork session I give is unique - I take time listen, deeply, to what your system is needing. I integrate many different therapies into each session. I use hot stones to penetrate warmth into the muscle belly; Deep tissue and myofascial release therapy for unwinding and releasing tight and chronic stuck muscles; And, biodynamic craniosacral therapy to support emotional digestion, nervous system support and energetic release.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a non-manipulative osteopathic modality. I offer attuned, light touch to different parts of your body in a health-oriented, non-directive, and non-judgemental way. There is a deep cellular restructuring that occures in the nervous systmem when the body is immersed in a field of attuned touch. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is supportive for emotional, physical and energetic imbalances. It can support you to process, integrate and release emotional discharge held in the body. It is supportive for stress, PTSD, nervous system disregulation, sleep disturbances, migraines and headaches, TMJ issues, depression and anxiety, and developmental re-patterning.
